Nepal Expects Israel's Continued Support To Agriculture Sector

Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Development Ramnath Adhikari has expressed hope for continued support from Israel to Nepal's agriculture sector. 

During a meeting with Israeli Ambassador to Nepal, Shmulik Bass, Minister Adhikari called for the renewal of bilateral cooperation, including reviving the 'Earn and Learn' program for Nepali youth. 

He also urged the establishment of a Centre for Excellence in agriculture development in Nepal. Ambassador Bass confirmed Israel's willingness to collaborate through technology transfer and pledged to support the agriculture centre and take further steps to implement previous agreements, including sending more Nepali workers to Israel.
