Minister Lekhak Instructs CDOs And Security Chiefs

Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak has directed Chief District Officers and Security Chiefs from all districts across the country to carry out result-oriented activities, despite limited resources. During a virtual meeting with District Security Committees organized by the Home Ministry today, Minister Lekhak highlighted the challenges of controlling drug abuse, reducing suicide rates, and minimizing road accidents. He emphasized the importance of coordinated efforts with provincial and local authorities to address these interconnected issues.

Minister Lekhak also called for a zero-tolerance approach to border crimes, poaching, and financial irregularities. He added that the ministry is actively pursuing legal, policy, and structural reforms. "We have a serious responsibility to ensure peace and security, as they are essential for the sustainability of development, prosperity, and democracy," he stressed.
