Minister Pandey Emphasized For Qualified Climbers Only

Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation Minister Badri Prasad Pandey has emphasized the need to establish a system where only individuals with the necessary qualifications are allowed to climb mountains. He made this statement highlighting the various risks faced during mountain climbing.
Minister Pandey also suggested that the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) should regulate helicopter operations, allowing flights only up to certain areas.

Pandey also mentioned that even foreigners have acknowledged the strong presence of helicopters in the private sector. He added that the private sector operators, by limiting their helicopter operations to certain areas, could help control and regulate air and noise pollution, a task that CAAN would oversee.
