Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal has stated that all necessary security arrangements for the upcoming elections have been completed, urging voters to participate in the voting process on Falgun 21 without fear.
Addressing a meeting of the Central Security Committee on Thursday, chaired by himself, Minister Aryal expressed confidence that the elections will be conducted on the scheduled date with strong and reliable security arrangements, supported by coordination among all concerned agencies.
During the meeting, chiefs of all three security agencies and officials from district security committees informed the Home Minister that security preparations are being finalized and district-level security strategies are being gradually implemented.
According to the Home Minister’s Secretariat, the meeting also held detailed discussions on the implementation of the central election security strategy and overall preparations for the elections scheduled for Falgun 21.
Conducted via Zoom, the meeting included central security officials, chief secretaries of all seven provinces (provincial command post heads), and chief district officers from all 77 districts. The Home Minister received updates on the implementation of provincial and district-level security strategies and election preparedness, with presentations delivered by provincial chief secretaries and district security committee officials.
