Nepali Congress Vice-Chair Vishwaprakash Sharma has emphasized that only Nepali Congress can steer the country through difficult times.
Speaking at an election rally in Kerabari, Morang-1, for Congress candidate Khadga Phago, Sharma said the nation should be entrusted to a mature, experienced party, not inexperienced forces. “Running the state is not a game; only a party capable of managing responsibilities and crises should lead,” he added.
He recalled Congress’s historic role in ending the Maoist armed conflict, bringing the Maoists into peaceful politics, and guiding the constitution-building process. Sharma stressed that Congress represents experienced leadership capable of managing the country during political turbulence, while also addressing the demands and aspirations of the new generation.
