“Dr. Gobindra Raj Pokharel Pledges Skill Development and Job Creation for Pyuthan Youth Ahead of Elections”

Nepali Congress leader, Professor Dr. Gobindra Raj Pokharel, has stated that addressing the prevailing unemployment problem in Nepal is the foremost responsibility at present.

Dr. Pokharel, who is also a candidate from Pyuthan for the upcoming House of Representatives election on Falgun 21, highlighted that unemployment affects youth across the country. Recalling that many of his former students have become self-employed in the industrial sectors of the Terai region, he emphasized that his first priority would be to provide skill development training to 10,000 youths in Pyuthan to enable them to create small and medium-scale employment opportunities.

While visiting Jhimruk for voter interactions and door-to-door campaigns, Dr. Pokharel also mentioned that he aims to implement policy reforms to promote job creation.
