Major Currencies Decline Following a Trend

Nepal Rastra Bank has announced the foreign exchange rates for today (Thursday), showing a drop in the value of major currencies like the US dollar, Australian dollar, euro, British pound, Kuwaiti dinar and Bahraini dinar.

This follows a similar trend from yesterday, when these currencies also lost value.

Today, the buying rate for 1 US dollar is NPR 138.02, and the selling rate is NPR 138.62. Yesterday, the rates were NPR 138.22 for buying and NPR 138.82 for selling.

The exchange rate for 1 euro has also dropped, with the buying rate at NPR 150.44 and the selling rate at NPR 151.10. Yesterday, the rates were NPR 151.12 for buying and NPR 151.78 for selling.

The British pound has fallen, with the buying rate at NPR 178.99 and the selling rate at NPR 179.77. Yesterday, the rates were NPR 179.49 for buying and NPR 180.27 for selling.

The Australian dollar is also weaker, with the buying rate at NPR 87.39 and the selling rate at NPR 87.77, compared to NPR 88.05 for buying and NPR 88.43 for selling yesterday.


The Kuwaiti dinar and Bahraini dinar have also slightly dropped. Today, the buying rate for the Kuwaiti dinar is NPR 448.04 and the selling rate is NPR 449.99, while yesterday's rates were NPR 448.81 for buying and NPR 450.76 for selling.
 

The Bahraini dinar's buying rate is now NPR 366.11, and the selling rate is NPR 367.70, compared to yesterday’s NPR 366.64 for buying and NPR 368.23 for selling.


Commercial banks may set slightly different rates, and the latest updates can be checked on the central bank’s official website.
