A landslide triggered by continuous rain has completely blocked the Ridi–Wamitaksar road near Tallofant, stranding vehicles and disrupting traffic between Palpa and Butwal.

Heavy rain on Sunday night caused a landslide near Tallofant, at the border of Chandrakot-8 and Musikot-5, blocking the Ridi–Wamitaksar road. This road connects Ridi and Wamitaksar to Palpa and Butwal and is used by many vehicles daily.
Due to the landslide, all traffic has stopped, and many vehicles heading from Wamitaksar to Palpa and Butwal are stuck on the way.
A police team from the Majuwa Police Post, led by ASI Shivdhan Prasad Kathariya, has reached the site to help clear the road. However, continued rain is making the work difficult. Efforts are ongoing to remove the debris and reopen the road.
