Kathmandu Valley’s water supply services are set to face a brief disruption this week, as Kathmandu Upatyaka Khanepani Limited (KUKL) prepares for a major server merger.

KUKL announced that all services, including online bill payment, revenue collection counters, new water connection requests, and branch-level support will remain closed from December 12 to 14.

The shutdown follows the merger of servers at the Kshetrapati and Tripureshwor branches, along with software integration work for the Maharajgunj and Kamaladi service centers.

According to KUKL Chief Executive Director Ashok Kumar Paudel, the three-day suspension is necessary to streamline the system and unify branch services under an upgraded platform.

KUKL has urged customers to complete urgent payments or service requests before the scheduled downtime.
