KP Sharma Oli has directed party candidates and leaders to reach out to people through door-to-door visits in preparation for the upcoming election.
Oli, who also serves as the chairman of the CPN-UML, urged party members to actively communicate the party’s main agenda to voters as the election scheduled for Falgun 21 approaches.
During a discussion held at Hotel Heaven in Birtamod on his return to Kathmandu, Chairman Oli emphasized the need to directly engage with citizens at their homes to dispel misconceptions circulating at the grassroots level.
According to Manoj Tamlikha, coordinator of the Election Deployment Committee for Jhapa Constituency No. 4, Chairman Oli instructed all leaders and workers to participate in the election in a result-oriented manner. Tamlikha quoted Oli, saying that the special directive is for party members to go door-to-door to remove misconceptions among voters.
The meeting was attended by candidates from various constituencies of Jhapa district and coordinators of the election deployment committee. Participants provided updates to Chairman Oli regarding election preparations and the progress of their campaigns.
The candidates claimed that, contrary to what is seen on social media, there is no public support for other parties. They reported receiving positive feedback from voters toward CPN-UML through direct meetings and campaign events.
