Kathmandu Valley’s Minimum Temperature Gradually Rises

The minimum temperature in Kathmandu Valley is gradually rising.

According to the Weather Forecasting Division, the temperature in Kathmandu was 4.9°C at 5:45 am today (Saturday). Yesterday, it was 4.4°C at the same time, but later fell to 4°C at 8:45 am. Today’s official minimum temperature will also be recorded at 8:45 am and is expected to be a little lower than the early morning reading.

The Division measures daily temperatures across the country. Minimum temperatures are recorded at 8:45 am, and maximum temperatures at 5:45 pm. The lowest temperature of the day is taken as the minimum, and the highest as the maximum.
