NRB Fixes Exchange Rates as US Dollar Reaches Record High

Nepal Rastra Bank has published the foreign exchange rates for today (Saturday), with the US dollar reaching a new record high.

 

According to the central bank, one US dollar is being bought at Rs 145.09 and sold at Rs 145.69.

 

Among other currencies, one euro is priced at Rs 168.59 for buying and Rs 169.29 for selling. The UK pound sterling is being bought at Rs 194.51 and sold at Rs 195.31. The Swiss franc stands at Rs 180.97 for buying and Rs 181.71 for selling.

 

The Australian dollar has been fixed at Rs 97.32 for buying and Rs 97.72 for selling, while the Canadian dollar is being traded at Rs 104.49 and Rs 104.92 respectively. The Singapore dollar is priced at Rs 112.70 for buying and Rs 113.16 for selling.

 

Similarly, 10 Japanese yen are being bought at Rs 9.18 and sold at Rs 9.21. The Chinese yuan is traded at Rs 20.82 for buying and Rs 20.90 for selling. The Saudi Arabian riyal is priced at Rs 38.69 for buying and Rs 38.85 for selling, while the Qatari riyal stands at Rs 39.83 and Rs 40.00 respectively.

 

The Thai baht is being traded at Rs 4.62 for buying and Rs 4.64 for selling. The UAE dirham is priced at Rs 39.50 and Rs 39.67, while the Malaysian ringgit stands at Rs 35.76 for buying and Rs 35.91 for selling.

 

One Hong Kong dollar is being bought at Rs 18.60 and sold at Rs 18.68. The Kuwaiti dinar is priced at Rs 474.46 for buying and Rs 476.42 for selling. Likewise, the Bahraini dinar stands at Rs 384.85 and Rs 386.44, while the Omani riyal is being traded at Rs 376.87 for buying and Rs 378.43 for selling.

 

The buying rate of 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160.00, while the selling rate is Rs 160.15.
