As winter comes to an end and the pre-monsoon season begins, temperatures are slowly increasing across Nepal.
On Wednesday, the minimum temperature in the Kathmandu Valley was recorded at 13.6 degrees Celsius in the early morning.
According to the Weather Forecasting Division, the first temperature reading taken at 5:45 am showed 13.6°C. On Tuesday, the temperature at the same time was 10.5°C, and the final minimum temperature recorded at 8:45 am was 10.4°C.
Today, the official minimum temperature will be recorded at 8:45 am. It may drop slightly from the early reading or remain the same. Although the sky over the Kathmandu Valley is cloudy today, rainfall is not expected.
The Division records the minimum temperature at 8:45 am and the maximum temperature at 5:45 pm every day. The minimum temperature shows how cold it was from night to early morning, while the maximum temperature shows how warm it gets during the day.
