The Election Commission of Nepal (EC) has said that voters must bring a valid ID to the polling centre to vote in the House of Representatives elections on March 5.
Voters can use their voter ID card or Nepali citizenship certificate to cast their vote. The Commission has also said that a national identity card, passport, land ownership certificate, or driving licence will be accepted as valid ID.
Only those people whose names are included in the final voter list published by the Commission and who have turned 18 years old by March 4 will be allowed to vote.
The EC has requested all voters to carry one of these approved identification documents when going to their assigned polling centres.
