As tensions escalate in the Middle East, Israel has launched coordinated strikes on Tehran and Beirut following Iran’s drone attack on the U.S. Embassy in Riyadh. According to Israeli security forces, military targets in both cities were hit simultaneously. Al Jazeera reported strikes in Beirut’s Haret area, while The Jerusalem Post, citing Reuters, confirmed the drone attack on the Riyadh embassy. Two additional U.S. soldiers were reportedly killed in Operation Epic Fury, raising the American death toll to six.
After the embassy attack, the United States suspended consular services in Saudi Arabia and ordered non-essential staff to leave its embassy in Iraq. In response to joint U.S.-Israeli strikes, Iran launched missile and drone attacks across Gulf countries. Bahrain said its air defenses intercepted dozens of Iranian missiles and drones.
U.S. Central Command stated it continues targeting Iranian military infrastructure, including facilities linked to the IRGC. Iran claimed it carried out a major strike on a U.S. airbase in Bahrain, damaging key structures.
With Gulf nations increasingly drawn into the conflict, risks to civilians and foreign residents are rising. Despite global calls for de-escalation, the crisis shows no clear sign of ending.
