Karnali Yaks Moves A Step Closer To The Final

Karnali Yaks advanced to Qualifier-2 of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) after defeating Chitwan Rhinos by 21 runs.
Karnali will now face Janakpur Bolts in the next match for a place in the final.
After losing the toss and being put to bat first, Karnali set a target of 176 runs, and Chitwan was restricted to 154 runs, losing 9 wickets in their 20 overs. Ravi Bopara was the top scorer for Chitwan who took 53 runs.
Although Bopara hit 3 fours and 4 sixes in 34 balls, it wasn’t enough for his team to secure a win. Hasan Eisakhil contributed 18 runs, while Luke Benkenstein made 16 runs. Kushal Malla was dismissed for 21 runs, and Sarad Bheswakar got out for 10 runs.
For Karnali, Jason Maksud took 3 wickets, while Sompal Kami and Nandan Yadav claimed 2 wickets each. Another wicket was taken by Dev Khanal. Karnali's Gulshan Jha took 4 catches. Earlier, after losing the toss and opting to bat first, Karnali made 175 runs, losing 6 wickets in their 20 overs.

Similarly, for Karnali, opener Jaykishan Kolsawala scored a half-century, making 53 runs, while William Bosisto also played a half-century knock, scoring 52 runs off 39 balls, including 3 fours and 2 sixes. There was a 59-run partnership for the third wicket between Kolsawala and Bosisto. 
Following that, Bosisto and Chadwick Walton added another brilliant 67-run partnership for the fifth wicket before getting out. Walton contributed 46 runs from 23 balls, hitting 4 fours and 3 sixes.
For Chitwan, Sohail Tanvir took 2 wickets, while Sarad Bheswakar, Ravi Bopara, and Kushal Malla each claimed 1 wicket.
