A powerful explosion happened on Wednesday night at the Jagadamba Steel Industry in Jitpursimara Sub-Metropolitan City, Bara. The blast occurred around 9:15 PM in the furnace used to melt iron.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Bed Prakash Joshi, who is in charge of the Area Police Office in Simara, one Indian worker was injured in the explosion, as stated by the factory management.

Right after the blast, a police team reached the factory, and work began to check how much damage had been done. The explosion was so loud that people in nearby areas could hear it clearly, which caused panic among residents.

Tensions rose after the incident, as many locals gathered around the factory. They believed more people might have been hurt than what the factory claimed. Ambulances and fire trucks were seen outside the building.

Even though the factory says only one person was injured, local people are not convinced. They are asking for clear information and fear that several workers might have been hurt in the blast.

Police have started a full investigation to find out what really happened.
