Nepal Rastra Bank has announced the official foreign exchange rates for today, Thursday. The value of some foreign currencies like the US dollar, Kuwaiti dinar, and Bahraini dinar has gone up. However, currencies such as the Australian dollar, British pound, and euro have gone down in value. This is the opposite of what happened yesterday when the US dollar, Kuwaiti dinar, and Bahraini dinar lost value, while the Australian dollar, British pound, and euro became stronger.

Today, one US dollar can be bought for NPR 136.83 and sold for NPR 137.43. Yesterday, these rates were a bit lower at NPR 136.52 for buying and NPR 137.14 for selling. The euro’s buying rate today is NPR 160.95, and the selling rate is NPR 161.66, which is lower than yesterday’s rates of NPR 161.23 and NPR 161.93. The British pound has also dropped slightly, with today’s buying rate at NPR 187.53 and selling rate at NPR 188.35, compared to yesterday’s rates of NPR 187.96 and NPR 188.79.

The Australian dollar is being traded at NPR 89.84 for buying and NPR 90.24 for selling today, which is a small decrease from yesterday’s NPR 89.88 and NPR 90.28. On the other hand, the Kuwaiti dinar has gained some value, with today’s buying rate at NPR 448.31 and selling rate at NPR 450.28, higher than yesterday’s NPR 447.53 and NPR 449.50. Similarly, the Bahraini dinar has also increased slightly, with a buying rate of NPR 362.96 and a selling rate of NPR 364.57 today, compared to yesterday’s NPR 362.13 and NPR 363.72.
