It Is Natural For America To Be Concerned About BRI

Nepal Communist Party (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' said that the Chinese development project, the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), is in Nepal's interest. He explained that since China and the United States are currently the main competitors, it is natural for one to be concerned about the other's initiatives.
While speaking to the media in Chitwan on Tuesday, Prachanda gave his opinion on the Indo-Pacific Strategy (IPS) and BRI. 

He said, "There will naturally be concern regarding BRI and MCC because China and the United States are seen as the main competitors, and when both of their strategies come forward, it is natural for them to be concerned about each other. During my second term as Prime Minister, a deal was made for BRI. According to that, we need to move forward, but there is confusion. However, this should move forward."
