As hostilities between Israel and Hezbollah intensify, at least 30,000 people have been displaced in Lebanon. According to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, many of them have taken shelter in temporary shelters.
Israel is continuing its air campaign against the Iran-backed militant group Hezbollah in Lebanon. Evacuation warnings have been issued, particularly in the southern suburbs of Beirut and in southern parts of the country.
Hezbollah said on Tuesday that it carried out attacks on three Israeli military bases in retaliation for Israeli strikes on its strongholds in Lebanon, including the southern suburbs of Beirut.
The Israel Defense Forces stated on Tuesday that troops from its 91st Division are conducting operations in southern Lebanon and have been deployed at multiple locations near the border.
Lebanese security sources and eyewitnesses reported that Israeli forces crossed the interim border known as the Blue Line between Lebanon and Israel on Tuesday morning and advanced about one kilometer into Lebanese territory.
