Nepal and Myanmar will face each other today in the final of the Four-Nation International Women's Championship. The match will take place at Dasharath Stadium in Tripureshwar and is scheduled to start at 6 PM.
Myanmar is currently ranked 48 places higher than Nepal in the international rankings. So far, Nepal's women's team has played five matches against Myanmar but has never managed to secure a victory. Out of those five matches, Myanmar has won three, while the remaining two ended in draws.
During the league stage of this tournament, Nepal and Myanmar played a match that ended in a 2-2 draw. The tournament featured four teams: Nepal, Myanmar, Lebanon, and Kyrgyzstan. After the league stage, Myanmar finished as the top-ranked team, while Nepal secured second place, allowing both teams to qualify for the final.
Nepal's head coach, Rajendra Tamang, has expressed confidence in his team. He believes that they have worked on their past mistakes and will deliver a strong performance in today's final match.
