Home Minister Pledges Stronger Security and Federal–Provincial Coordination in Madhesh

Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal has assured Madhesh Province of stronger federal–provincial coordination and enhanced security measures ahead of the upcoming elections.

Meeting with Madhesh Province Home, Law, and Communications Minister Bimala Ansari, Aryal emphasized the federal government’s commitment to the province’s safety and pledged to expedite the implementation of the Police Adjustment Act to strengthen local security arrangements.

The discussion also focused on maintaining peace, preventing crime, and improving cooperation between federal and provincial security agencies.

Aryal reiterated that the House of Representatives elections, scheduled for March 5, 2026, will be conducted on time, ensuring a safe and orderly process.
