Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) closed 10.43 points higher at 2,676.03 on Thursday after a volatile trading session.
The market opened at 2,665.60, fell to 2,659.1 early on, surged to 2,678.29, and ended with minor fluctuations. Hotels and Tourism led sector gains (+23.97 points), while Manufacturing and Processing fell the most (-21.40 points).
Among companies, 131 gained and 121 lost. NRN Infrastructure & Development Ltd had the highest turnover (Rs 401.77 million), Sagar Distillery rose 10%, and Him Star Urja fell 7.78%.
Daily turnover slightly dipped to Rs 6.66 billion, reflecting cautious investor activity.
