The government has appointed Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal as the new spokesperson.
On Thursday, during a Cabinet meeting held at Singha Durbar, the government assigned Minister Aryal the responsibility of serving as the official spokesperson. Speaking to journalists after the meeting, Home Minister Aryal confirmed that he had been given the role.
The position had been vacant following the resignation of the previous government spokesperson, Communication and Information Technology Minister Jagdish Kharel, who stepped down to participate in the upcoming elections.
