The government has approved a new framework to support individuals injured during the ‘Gen-Z’ Uprising, moving forward with plans for education, health and employment assistance.
According to Communications Minister Jagadish Kharel, Monday’s cabinet meeting endorsed the Gen-Z Injured Relief Assistance Procedure 2082, which outlines state support for those wounded or disabled in the September protests.
The meeting also decided to recognize journalist Suresh Rajak,wh o died during the March 28 demonstrations at Tinkune, as a martyr.
