Government to Probe Tinkune Incident, Punish the Guilty

The government has decided to investigate the incident that took place in Kathmandu’s Tinkune area on March 28 and take action against those found guilty.

A Cabinet meeting held at Baluwatar on Friday evening directed the Ministry of Home Affairs to conduct a detailed investigation and ensure that such incidents do not occur in the future.

Additionally, the meeting instructed the Ministry of Health and Population to arrange proper medical treatment for those injured in course of the protest. The government has assured that necessary steps will be taken to maintain law and order while addressing public  concerns.
