Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal has assured that the current government will conduct free and fair elections. Speaking at a provincial-level security workshop in Janakpur, Madhesh Province on Wednesday, he emphasized that the government is non-partisan and committed to holding elections without any fraud or favoritism.

He stated, “Even after the rebellion, the constitution must be restored in its original form. Following the dissolution of the previous parliamentary mandate, elections must still be held within six months as per the constitution. This independent government, led by former Chief Justice Sushila Karki as Prime Minister, symbolizes fairness and impartiality. It will conduct transparent elections free from partisan influence and manipulation.”

Aryal also highlighted that the morale of the security forces has improved since the formation of the current government, and cooperation between citizens and security agencies has strengthened. He asserted that despite criticism and personal risk, he has prevented undue interference in the Ministry and its subordinate agencies, ensuring professionalism and respect within the security forces.

He added that the government has effectively managed the country after the Gen-Z movement crisis, encouraging police and security personnel to work with high morale.
