Suman Sayami, coordinator of the National Liberation Party Nepal (pro-unity faction), has joined the Nepal Communist Party.
He was formally welcomed into the party on Wednesday at a program held in Kathmandu by Nepal Communist Party coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal. Sayami is a prominent leader of the Guthi Movement and has also been actively leading various social awareness campaigns in Kathmandu.
According to the Nepal Communist Party, an understanding has been reached with the National Liberation Party Nepal (pro-unity faction) to move forward with commitments focused on corruption control, the Guthi movement, and the cooperative movement.
