Gold prices in Nepal have hit a record high, continuing their upward momentum in the domestic market. The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association reported a sharp rise of Rs 5,200 per tola in gold prices on Monday.

 

With this increase, fine gold is now being traded at Rs 309,000 per tola, the highest level ever recorded in Nepal. On the previous day, gold was priced at Rs 303,800 per tola.

 

Silver prices have also surged significantly. According to the association, silver rose by Rs 275 per tola to reach Rs 6,765 per tola in the local market.
