Balendra (Balen) Sah, the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidate for the House of Representatives from Jhapa-5, will start a door-to-door election campaign in Damak on Monday.
According to the party, the campaign will begin at 8:00 am from Uraon Basti in Damak-9, where party supporters have been asked to gather. The Uraon community is an indigenous group living in Nepal’s eastern Terai and is often socially and economically marginalized.
Balen’s secretariat said the campaign will move through Panini School, Dev Singh Tole, Naubhai Chowk and Buddha Chowk, and will end again at Uraon Basti. During the campaign, Balen will meet local people, listen to their problems, and share his plans and promises for the election.
