Four people, including three children, were killed in Sarlahi district on Wednesday morning after being buried by a landslide.
The incident occurred at Haripur Municipality-1, Harde Khola, when locals were digging soil near the riverbank. The victims have been identified as Sayda Khatun (65), Sabiba Khatun (6), Dillu Mansur (8), and Nargis Khatun (9), all residents of Sonma Rural Municipality-6, Mahottari.
Assistant Spokesperson of the District Police Office, Balishthar Singh, said the victims were rescued immediately and rushed to Provincial Hospital, Malangwa, where doctors pronounced them dead upon arrival.
