Formal campaigning for the House of Representatives election scheduled for Falgun 21 begins today.

 

According to the Election Commission, political parties and candidates are allowed to carry out election campaigning from today until midnight on Falgun 18. Election campaigning is permitted only from 15 days prior to the date of voting.

 

As part of the campaign activities, parties and candidates may organize rallies, mass meetings, and corner assemblies, as well as publish or broadcast election-related materials in the media.

 

It has been stated that all political parties, candidates, and concerned stakeholders must strictly comply with the Election Code of Conduct while conducting campaign activities, giving high priority to maintaining the integrity of the election. Within these provisions, candidates are now formally allowed to seek votes from the public.
