Foreign Exchange Update: Euro, Pound, and Aussie Dollar Gain; USD Dips Slightly

The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has released the official foreign exchange rates for today, Wednesday. Some currencies have slightly dropped in value, while others—like the Australian Dollar, British Pound, and Euro—have gone up a bit.

The US Dollar has slightly decreased. Today, it is being bought at NPR 132.52 and sold at NPR 133.13. Yesterday, the buying rate was NPR 132.92, but the selling rate stayed the same.

The Euro has gone up a little. Today’s buying rate is NPR 142.93 and the selling rate is NPR 143.57. This is a small rise from yesterday’s rates of NPR 142.61 (buying) and NPR 143.26 (selling).

The British Pound has also increased slightly. It is being bought at NPR 168.96 and sold at NPR 169.61 today. Yesterday, the buying rate was NPR 168.52 and the selling rate was NPR 169.14.

The Australian Dollar has seen a noticeable increase. Today, the buying rate is NPR 88.89 and the selling rate is NPR 89.50. This is higher than yesterday’s rates of NPR 87.86 (buying) and NPR 88.46 (selling).

The Kuwaiti Dinar has also gone up a little. It is being bought at NPR 432.53 and sold at NPR 433.17, compared to yesterday’s rates of NPR 431.85 and NPR 432.44.

Similarly, the Bahraini Dinar has slightly increased. Today’s buying rate is NPR 350.72 and the selling rate is NPR 351.36. Yesterday, it was bought at NPR 349.92 and sold at NPR 350.57.
