The Nepali women’s cricket team has departed for Uganda to participate in the 'Women's Day' Cup T20 International Cricket Series. The farewell was conducted by the Nepal Cricket Association (CAN) in the middle of the program that was held today. The secretary of the Nepal Cricket Association, Paras Khadka, spokesperson Chhumpi Lama, along with other respectable representatives, were present during the farewell program.

While giving farewell to the players, Nepali captain Indu Barma responded to the representatives that they will show a strong performance in the match. The countries set to be engaged in this four-nation cricket tournament include Nepal, Uganda, Namibia, and Hong Kong. The match will take place from Falgun 24 to Chaitra 3. The final will be between the top two countries.

The Nepali squad for the tournament has already been announced. Nepal will kick off their game against Namibia this coming Saturday.
