Deuba Led NC Holds Central Working Committee Meeting Today

The Nepali Congress (NC) led by Sher Bahadur Deuba is holding a meeting of its Central Working Committee today.

According to a notice issued by Party Office Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Paudel, the meeting is scheduled for Saturday at 8 am. Party office bearers, committee members, invited members, and the presidents of all seven provincial committees have been asked to attend.

The meeting is taking place just after the Election Commission officially recognized the faction led by Gagan Thapa, which was elected through the special general convention. The Deuba-led group has said it does not accept the Election Commission’s decision.
