Curfew Ends in Kathmandu's Tinkune, Traffic Returning to Normal

The curfew in Kathmandu’s Tinkune area, which had restricted movement and halted transportation, has ended, allowing vehicles to operate normally again.

The Kathmandu district administration office has lifted the curfew imposed in the Tinkune area since yesterday afternoon (March 28). 

Earlier, the curfew was enforced from 4.30 pm till 10 pm, only to be extended until 7 am on March 29, with a ban on activities like operation of public vehicles, movement in groups, protests and gatherings in several areas, including Baneshwar, Tinkune, Koteshwar, Gaushala and Gairigaun.

After the end of the curfew, normalcy has started returning and vehicular movement has resumed, police informed.
