Court Halts Arrest of Journalist Dil Bhusan Pathak

The Patan High Court has temporarily stopped the arrest of journalist Dil Bhusan Pathak.

Judge Rishi Raj Bhandari gave this order on Monday while reviewing a request from Pathak to stop the arrest. The court has also called both sides to come and discuss the case on June 19.

Pathak went to court after an arrest warrant was issued against him for a cybercrime case.

The case began after a report was shown on his YouTube channel, claiming that Jayveer Deuba, the son of Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, had bought the Hilton Hotel.
