The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) continued its protest in the House of Representatives today by surrounding the Speaker’s platform, also known as "bell surrounding."

Despite the protest, the Parliament meeting went ahead. After that, the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) boycotted the meeting.

At the beginning of the meeting, Speaker Devraj Ghimire gave time to RPP Chairman Rajendra Lingden to speak. Lingden clearly said that if the meeting continued amid the protest, his party would boycott it.

After him, Santosh Pariyar from RSP spoke in Parliament. He demanded that a parliamentary investigation committee should be formed regarding their concern. But after his speech, the Speaker continued with the meeting process.

This made the RSP lawmakers angry, and they came to the front of the Parliament and started chanting slogans. They surrounded the Speaker’s seat and continued protesting, demanding that their issue be addressed first.
