Chitwan Rhinos secured their first win in the Nepal Premier League by defeating Kathmandu Gurkhas by 5 wickets.

In a match held on Monday in Kirtipur, the Gurkhas batted first and scored 111 runs in their 20 overs. Sohail Tanvir was the star for the Rhinos, taking 5 wickets for just 21 runs. Rijan Dhakal, Kushal Malla, Amar Routela, and Luc Benkenstein each took a wicket as well.
Chasing a target of 112 runs, Chitwan Rhinos comfortably reached the target in 17.1 overs with 17 balls to spare. Santosh Karki scored 28 runs, Luc Benkenstein made 22 runs, and Captain Kushal Malla, Sharad Vesawkar, and Ravi Bopara each contributed 11 runs.
Despite a strong bowling performance from Gurkhas' Shahab Alam, who took 3 wickets for 20 runs, Rhinos won the match easily.
