China’s foreign trade reached 45.47 trillion yuan (around 6.48 trillion USD) in 2025, marking a 3.8% increase compared to the previous year, according to official data.
Exports led the growth, rising 6.1% to 26.99 trillion yuan, while imports saw a modest increase of 0.5% to 18.48 trillion yuan, said Wang Junka, Deputy Director of the General Administration of Customs.
The figures indicate that China’s export capacity remains strong despite ongoing global economic challenges, reflecting resilience in international trade.
