Cabinet meeting scheduled for 6 PM today at Baluwatar

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has called a meeting of the Council of Ministers. The meeting is slated for 6 pm today at the Prime Minister's official residence in Baluwatar. The regular cabinet meeting could not be held on Monday as it was a public holiday. Therefore, today's meeting is expected to cover some important decisions that were pending.

One of the key agendas of the meeting could be the appointment of a new member to the Governor Recommendation Committee of Nepal Rastra Bank. This position became vacant after Bishwo Poudel resigned from the committee that plays an important role in recommending candidates for the post of Governor. The government is likely to discuss and possibly finalize the name of a new member for the committee during today’s meeting.
