CAAN: Domestic Flights to Operate as Needed on Election Day

The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has said that domestic flights will operate as needed on the day of the House of Representatives election.

In a statement, CAAN said domestic flights across the country will run based on passenger demand and operational requirements.

International flights will continue as usual, except for those going to Middle Eastern countries. CAAN said flights to the Middle East will follow revised schedules set by the respective airlines, in line with decisions made by the concerned countries and airport authorities.

Because of the changing situation in the Middle East, flights to some destinations in the region have been temporarily suspended, the Authority added.
