Nepali Congress Vice President Bishwo Prakash Sharma has said that while a film may succeed because of a single hero, a country cannot run that way. He claimed that only the Nepali Congress can resolve the current crisis and that it will lead the government with a strong and capable “excellent team” of experts.
He said, “Becoming Prime Minister is not like becoming a film hero. Developing the country requires an entire team. A movie may run because of one hero, but a country cannot.”
Speaking at an election rally in West Nawalparasi on Thursday, Sharma added, “We do not claim that the country will automatically prosper just because Gagan Thapa becomes Prime Minister.”
He stated that under Thapa’s leadership, and with the guidance of senior leaders including Sher Bahadur Deuba, a renewed Congress team composed of qualified and capable individuals would lead the government.
