Bangladesh has won the SAFF U-20 Women’s Championship in style, beating Nepal 4-0 in the final match held at the Bashundhara Kings Arena in Dhaka.

Star player Mosmat Sagorika led the team to victory with a remarkable performance, scoring all four goals in the final. She found the net in the 8th, 52nd, 58th, and 78th minutes, completing a hat-trick and then adding one more for good measure.

With this win, Bangladesh finished the tournament undefeated, collecting 18 points from six matches. Nepal, who also played six games, ended with 12 points. This is the second time in the tournament that Bangladesh has beaten Nepal.

In their opening match, Bangladesh snatched a dramatic 3-2 win with a last-minute goal in injury time. The team also won the previous edition of the tournament in 2023, making this their second consecutive title.

Bangladesh’s strong performance throughout the competition and Sagorika’s standout play have earned the team well-deserved praise and celebration across the country.
