APF Wins National Women's Football Championship

The APF Football Club has won the title of the National Women's Football Tournament. 

In the final match held at the Krishnapur Ground in Bharatpur, Chitwan, APF became the champion by defeating Tribhuvan Army Football Club 4-2 in a penalty shootout.

The match had ended in a 1-1 draw in regular time, leading to the penalty shootout. APF received a cash prize of three lakh rupees along with the trophy, while the Army team received one lakh fifty thousand rupees.

With this victory, APF has won three titles this year, including the league. The tournament with Chitwan District Football Association as the organizer and Bharatpur Metropolitan City as promoter had eight teams as participants.
