Amid Tuesday’s violent demonstrations, the Nepali Army has recovered 31 looted firearms along with ammunition and seized Rs 3.37 million from suspects in the Gaushala-Chabahil-Boudha area of Kathmandu.

According to the Army, 23 police personnel and three civilians injured in attacks during the protests were treated at military hospitals. Authorities said 27 individuals have been arrested nationwide for looting, arson, and violent assaults on people and property.

The Army also reported that disruptive groups, who infiltrated the Gen Z movement, used fire-extinguishing devices to manage fires caused during the unrest. It stressed that strict measures are being enforced to prevent further destruction and maintain public order.
