The Nepali Army has reiterated its commitment to safeguarding the lives and property of the Nepali people as Gen Z-led protests continue to escalate across the country.
In a statement on Tuesday, the Army called on citizens to show restraint and avoid actions that could further intensify the unrest. It also reminded the public that protecting Nepal’s historical, cultural, archaeological, and national assets is a shared responsibility of all citizens.
The Army’s appeal comes at a time when demonstrations have turned increasingly tense, with incidents of violence, property damage, and even attacks on political leaders being reported in several areas.
