President Paudel Calls for Unity and Dialogue After PM Oli’s Resignation, Amid Gen Z Protests

President Ram Chandra Paudel has called on all political parties and stakeholders to work together to find a peaceful solution as Gen Z–led protests continue to escalate across the country.

In a statement released Tuesday, President Paudel said, “With the resignation of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli now accepted, I trust that all sides will cooperate to resolve the issues in the interest of the country, its people, and democracy.”

Acknowledging the growing demands of citizens, particularly the Gen Z movement protesting corruption and the government’s recent social media ban, the President urged demonstrators and leaders alike to seek solutions through democratic processes.
