Westerly Winds Bring Partial Cloud Cover Across Nepal

Westerly winds are currently affecting Nepal, bringing partly cloudy weather across the country, according to the Weather Forecasting Division.

The Division said that some parts of the Terai may experience haze and fog until noon. The high hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces are expected to remain mostly cloudy, while other hilly and mountainous areas will see partly cloudy skies.

The Terai region is likely to stay mostly clear. There is a chance of light rain or snowfall at one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.

Tonight, fog may occur in a few areas of the Terai. The high hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces may remain partly cloudy, while the rest of the country will be mostly clear. Light rain or snowfall is also possible at one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous areas of these provinces.
