Kathmandu Valley Cold Eases, Morning Temp Rises Above 9°C

The cold weather in the Kathmandu Valley is starting to ease. On Saturday, the morning temperature was recorded above 9 degrees Celsius.

The Weather Forecasting Division reported that at 5:45 am, Kathmandu’s temperature was 9.2°C. On Friday at the same time, it was 8.0°C, and it stayed the same at the official measurement time of 8:45 am.

The official minimum temperature is noted at 8:45 am, and it can be slightly lower than the early morning reading. The lowest temperature of the day is called the minimum, and the highest is called the maximum.

The Weather Division records daily minimum and maximum temperatures across Nepal, with 8:45 am set for the minimum and 5:45 pm for the maximum.
